DR. PATRICK J.
CANADAY
Doctor Canaday earned his dental degree from the University
of Illinois Dental School in 1965. After three years serving
in the Army Dental Corps, he began practicing general dentistry
in Appleton, WI. He remained in Appleton until returning
to school in 1976. Dr. Canaday received his certificate
in prosthodontics from the University of Missouri at Kansas
City in 1978 and has been practicing in Phoenix since then.
Each year, he has dedicated himself to continuing his education.
For example, he has participated in advanced projects as
part of the highly respected Cosmetic Dentistry Continuum
at U.C.L.A. and at the prestigious Foundation For Advanced
Continuing Education (F.A.C.E.) in San Francisco. Of the
many challenging courses Dr. Canaday has studied, his keen
interests in the areas of implants, denture prosthodontics
and cosmetic dentistry keep him current on the most advanced
techniques and materials available.
Dr. Canaday is an active member of the American Dental
Association, the Arizona State Dental Association and the
American College of Prosthodontists. |
DEBBIE
Debbie is our receptionist and scheduling
coordinator. The first voice
you will probably hear when you call us is hers. We consider her our goodwill
ambassador!
Debbie also works well with
our referral doctors to simplify scheduling
with them for our patients. Having been in
dentistry for 25 years, she's extremely
competent and knowledgeable and is especially gifted
in her ability to make patients
feel
comfortable, while their dental work is in
progress. Debbie concentrates her continuing education
efforts on team building techniques
and
interpersonal relationships.
A native of Phoenix, she has two daughters one
who was recently married and the other who attends Paradise
Valley Community College. She feels she
has the best of two worlds, enjoying family life and
her career in dentistry. She finds the advances
in dental technology both challenging and
rewarding. In her spare time, she volunteers
at the Herberger Theater, works out at the gym and is looking forward to traveling
more, now that her children are grown.

SUSAN
Susan began her career in dentistry in 1976. After many years as a chairside
assistant, she joined our practice in 1997. Susan is our office administrator
helping you with insurance claim filing and financial planning for your treatment.
An
Arizona native, living almost a decade in Flagstaff, Susan returned home to
the valley in 1995. While living in Flagstaff, she owned
and operated a retail
business. Susan has the unique combined experience of many years in dentistry
plus her knowledge of running a business, enabling her to assist our patients
in every aspect of our practice.
Susan appreciates the arts and expresses
her creativity through "paper
arts" such as hand-sewn books, boxes, cards, frames and most recently
collage. Hiking with her dog helps to keep Susan in touch with her love of
nature and
animals.

KARI
Kari, our Dental Assistant since 2000, is the "right
hand" to Dr. Canaday
and our dental team. We feel very fortunate to have found Kari because she fits
into our practice so perfectly! It seems as though Kari has been a part of "our
family" from its very beginning.
Kari, a native of Phoenix, received
her Dental Assistant certificate from Phoenix College in 1985. Her ability
to maintain the pace of our busy practice
is based on her attention to detail, combined with her many years of dental
experience.
Kari is married to Steve. Together they are quite
active at their church. Involved in organizing church singles
group
and special event activities allows them
to spend time together and keeps them very busy. Kari also enjoys working
out at
the gym and hiking whenever she is able.

SENTHIA
Senthia began her career in dentistry in 1999 and joined our staff in May 2002.
Her duties span all aspects of our dental office. In addition
to her "behind the scenes" responsibilities, Senthia can be found assisting
patients chairside or answering the phone. She is truly a multi-tasker!
Her work as laboratory case coordinator requires superior
organizational and management skills, keeping the office
running smoothly for Dr. Canaday and our patients.
Senthia fabricates beautiful custom whitening trays for patients and guides
you through the whitening process. Her individual patient
care also includes tips
and assistance with your home-care needs. The addition of Senthia's youthful
spirit and sense of humor compliments our practice well.
Senthia, an Arizona native, is married to Jay. Her
precious daughter Micah, now school age, is the light of
her life. Mother and daughter are best friends, always
busy with soccer and other activities. When there is spare
time, Senthia likes to rollerblade and play games with
family and friends.

OUR
PHILOSOPHY
We believe our greatest responsibility is communicating
our concern about your health. We feel that most people
are somewhat apprehensive about visiting a dental office
and that we can help to change that perception. Visits to
our office can be an educational experience as well as personally
satisfying. As individuals we have chosen dentistry as our
field of endeavor for various reasons. We value the warm
personal relationships we have the privilege of building
and the feeling of accomplishment we share as we see our
patients achieve a higher level of dental health.
Our goal as an organization is to provide a happy dental
home for all of our patients, providing the finest dentistry
available for comfort, function and aesthetics. Toward that
goal we feel a strong responsibility to keep current with
advances in dental knowledge. This is accomplished through
a variety of continuing education opportunities that we
are involved with individually
and as a team.
